Contracts • Terms of the Contract
K#078
Legal Definition
An integration is a written agreement that the court finds is the final agreement.
Plain English Explanation
When people negotiate, there are usually many drafts of a contract that are written, rewritten, and amended before finally ending up with the final agreement. This final agreement is believed to have integrated all of the previous negotiations, discussions, and thoughts of the parties. In other words, an "integration" is the final version of an agreement.
